My kids love multivitamins, but many kids’ vitamins are basically fruit snacks disguised as nutritional supplements. If you saw my review for Veggie Go’s, you know how I feel about fruit snacks.
So, what’s a mom to do? Well, I’ve been buying multivitamins from Honest Co, Zarbees, and SmartyPants over the last few years. Those are all decent vitamins, but I’ve still been looking for something new.
I’d like to tell you more about the new vitamins I found for my family, but first I have to let you know this is a sponsored post:

Alright, let’s talk about the complete multivitamin from Yummi Bears Organics.
I have 3 kids – a 14 (almost 15) year old, a 6 year old, and a 5 year old. I shared my samples of Yummi Bear Organics with my 5 and 6 year old, and they loved them. That’s why the bottle is almost empty in this pic:
I gave each of my boys the recommend 3 vitamins per day and then remembered I wanted to photograph the bottle (when it was almost empty, of course). I’m going to have to buy more of these (they sell them at Whole Foods, Amazon, and Costco) ASAP.
Let’s talk a bit about what’s inside of each Yummi Bears Organics multivitamin. Here’s a pic of the label:
Let’s talk about the pros and cons of these vitamins. I’ll start with the bad stuff.
Okay, 5 grams of sugar is more than I want my kids to have, but at least it’s organic cane sugar. I’m not about to give my kids vitamins with high fructose corn syrup.
I’m also bummed that the kids’ multivitamin contains cyanocobalamin rather than methylcobalamin. I’m somewhat confused by this because the adult vitamins I tried from this same brand contain methylcobalamin, so I don’t get why the kids’ vitamins don’t have the same version of B12.
I won’t tear apart the rest of the ingredients. Let’s talk some reasons why I felt good about giving my kids Yummi Bears Organics multivitamins.
Yummi Bears Organics multivitamins are:
- Gluten free
- Soy free
- Dairy free
- Egg free
- Peanut free
- GMO free
- Gelatin free
These vitamins are colored with organic carrots, apples, pumpkin, and blackcurrants – no artificial colors (or flavors)!
Each morning, my sons eat 3 bears before we head to the bus stop:
I was told that Yummi Bears Organics Complete Multivitamin for Kids is “the first and only organic and GMO-free gummy vitamin for children with nothing artificial added.” I’m going to have to check into this claim, but I’m guessing it’s true. A lot of the vitamins I buy seem to be partly organic or non GMO but not 100%.
Each bottle contains 16 important nutrients for kids, including Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E, as well as zinc and calcium. I like that these kids’ organic multivitamins are flavored and colored with actual fruit juice. If you don’t know why I despise artificial colors, I can show you a video of my son after he’s ingested some.
I got this bottle free, but will I buy Yummi Bears Organics Complete Multivitamin again for my kids? Yes, definitely. The price is reasonable, and they’re easy to find. I’ve even seen them at Walmart.
