My kids love fruit snacks, but I hate buying them. They’re packed with sugar, and my kids are already energetic enough without an extra 10 or 20 grams of sugar. I also hate how many brands (not the ones I buy, though) are packed with artificial colors and flavors – and they don’t even contain any fruit! They’re basically just candy disguised as semi-healthy treats.
When Moms Meet contacted me to ask if I’d like to sample Veggie-Go’s for my blog, I was like HECK YEAH! At the time, I was actively looking for fruit snacks without added sugar. I couldn’t find any at local stores, so I was so happy to get my giant box of healthy goodies in the mail.
I want to tell you more about Veggie Go’s Snacks, but I need to share my usual disclaimer first:
I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com) to use and post my honest opinions.

Honesty is important, so I don’t hide when I work with brands.
Anyway, let’s stay focused here. I got a box of Veggie Go’s Snacks in the mail, and it arrived just in time for my Florida vacation. The kids and I snacked on these healthy fruit snacks and strips on our road trip, but I saved a few for when we got home.
Here are some of the flavors we got to try:
They were all good, but my family had some favorites: Sweet Potato Apple + Spices and Strawberry Chia Seeds + Beets.
I shared some Veggie Go’s Snacks with my kids’ friends, and at first they were like, Ummmm, these look weird.
Then they ate them and decided they were delicious. The fruit strips were their favorite:
One of my sons also loved the fruit strips more than the fruit bites (my other kids liked the strips and bites equally):
Notice the small green dots on my son’s arm? He got new markers that stamp cute little designs, and I forgot to hide them. Oops.
If your kids like traditional fruit snacks (the ones loaded with sugar and artificial flavors) but you want to get them hooked on healthier snacks, I recommend starting with the Strawberry Chia Seeds + Beets bites. They kind of remind me of a sugar-free version of pink Starburst. Well, Veggie Go’s Snacks technically aren’t sugar free (fruit has sugar), but they don’t contain any added sugar.
The Sweet Potato Apple + Spices reminds me of pumpkin pie. I stuffed a few strips in my backpack and pretended it was almost Thanksgiving every time I ate one.
The Orange Cocoa Nibs + Carrots bites were my least favorite, but I’m not really a fan of anything that tastes like chocolate. I eat stuff with cocoa nibs occasionally, but I generally won’t go out of my way to purchase this type of stuff. However, my teenager thought the Orange Cocoa Nibs + Carrots bites were great, and so did my kids’ friends.
Thinking about buying Veggie Go’s Snacks for your family? Here are some things you should know:

Oh, and each Veggie Go’s Snack contains one full serving of fruits and veggies! That’s super awesome if you’ve got picky eaters at home.
Ready to stock up on Veggie Go’s Snacks, but having a hard time finding them in your area? I know the feeling! I’m hoping they’ll show up in more stores eventually, but for now you can find them at some Whole Foods and Sprouts Farmers Markets. Amazon.com also sells them.
If none of those stores/retailers are convenient for you, click here to search for local places that carry Veggie Go’s Snacks.
